About

We help clients develop robust policies and plans using the techniques of economics and econometrics. We deliver tailor made research solutions to the highest standards of quality and rigour, combining technical excellence with deep industry understanding and a passion for helping our clients succeed.

PJM economics was founded in 2012 to offer bespoke economic research and consultancy services to policy makers, regulators and regulated businesses. We are focused on the client’s need for robust evidence, communicated clearly and concisely, and offer a unique blend of economics consultancy with the latest and best market research techniques to deliver clear and powerful insights.

PJM employs two PhD-trained research economists and utilises a network of associates, including academics and freelance researchers. We have a strong partnership with Accent, a full-service market research agency with offices in London and Edinburgh, with whom we work regularly on projects involving market research.

Our work is produced to withstand the highest levels of academic, regulatory and stakeholder scrutiny and we regularly publish our work in academic journals and speak at academic and industry events. We understand that economics and econometrics can sometimes confuse rather than enlighten, and we make it our mission to prevent this from happening.
